Linux command to Find any string from a folder
As a Programmer we usually need to a good command that can help programmers to find specific strings from whole project folder. Although these features are also provided with some text editors as well. But this process is very slow with those editors. In Such a case we can use Linux commands (You can use same command to get string from specific file on your server as well)
Command $: find /var/www/html/ -exec grep -l ‘Function _traped()’ {} ;
In the Command as we can see there are two arguements we can provide as per our need. Let me describe both of these arguements as per our example command.
/var/www/html/ : Path of the folder on which you want to perform search
Function _traped(): String that you want to see within the folder
So here are the general command
$ find Folder Path -exec grep -l ‘String to be searched’ {} ;
